Couple of notes on the Utes. There has been some question as to whether quarterback Jordan Wynn, who suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in the fourth game of the year, would be able to receive a medical redshirt. While the Utes are awaiting official word from the NCAA, school officials are confident that he'll be granted another year and will be a junior in 2012. The Utes also applied for a medical redshirt for freshman receiver Charles Henderson, who suffered a season-ending knee injury against Arizona State. Like Wynn, the Utes consider it a virtual lock that Henderson will be granted another year. Speaking of the future, the Utes are hard at work on their recruiting classes. Jackson Barton, a 6-foot-6, 265-pound sophomore offensive lineman at Brighton H.S., committed to the Utes Monday. He'll join the class of 2014.
