Cedar City • The Southern Utah women’s basketball team will continue Summit League home play, hosting South Dakota in a 5 p.m. Saturday game, and UMKC Monday at 7 p.m. at the Centrum.
The Thunderbirds got a career high 22 points from sophomore guard DJ Norman Saturday to capture an 80-68 victory over IPFW, their first-league win of the year. They will be trying to avenge an 81-69 loss at South Dakota earlier in the season.
