Ruston, La. • Utah State was soundly defeated two nights ago by an aggressive, deep and physical New Mexico State team.
The question is, can the Aggies bounce back tonight against Louisiana Tech?

It won’t be easy, as the two teams prepare to face each other at the Thomas Assembly Center. Like NMSU, La. Tech is deep and athletic. The Bulldogs are 0-2 in the Western Athletic Conference entering the game, but they’ve had a difficult schedule and two close defeats.
Utah State is 9-8, and 1-2 in the WAC. The Aggies are led by Preston Medlin, who scores 16 points per game. But USU, since to loss of Brady Jardine for the season, is small and vulnerable inside, with only Kyisean Reed and Morgan Grim in terms of offensive firepower. Utah State, as a result, has struggled to rebound against New Mexico State and Nevada.
If USU can pull out a win, a victory over Idaho next weekend could set the Aggies up for a nice run, as they have a number of home games following the four-game road trip.
There is no television for this game.
