Utah was unable to score a goal in the shootout, sending the Grizzlies to a 2-1 loss to the Alaska Aces in ECHL play Saturday night in Anchorage, Alaska.
Tysen Dowzak scored for Utah in the first period. The Grizz managed only 14 shots all night, compared with 42 for Alaska.
