Utah running backs coach Dave Schramm and Utah State offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin are leaving their respective positions to take jobs at other colleges.

Schramm is getting another shot at being an offensive coordinator, this time at Fresno State.

The Salt Lake Tribune has confirmed through a school source that Schramm is joining Tim DeRuyter's staff at Fresno State as a coordinator.

Schramm, who just completed his seventh year with the Utes, served as coordinator in 2009 and co-offensive coordinator along with Aaron Roderick in 2010.

He was demoted to running backs coach in 2011 to make room for Norm Chow.

Baldwin accepted the offensive coordinator position with Colorado State. As a part of his move to CSU, Baldwin will make $75,000 more than he did with the Aggies. His relationship with new head coach Jim McElwain is also a big reason for him accepting the job, Baldwin said. They previously worked together at Michigan State.

Matt Wells, The Tribune learned, will replace Baldwin, after a brief search by Andersen. The former Utah State signal-caller, 38, served as Andersen's quarterbacks coach this season. His mentorship of Chuckie Keeton and his development of Adam Kennedy were major reasons for his promotion.

As a part of Wells' hiring, sources close to the program say, the Utah State offense will change from the pro-style running game this year to much more of a spread look. Two weeks ago, in his season-ending interview, Andersen named Keeton, a rising sophomore, his starting quarterback.

The offensive change seems to back that up, as Keeton's legs and arm will be highlighted in such an offense.
