Southern Utah faces Corbin, UC Davis

Cedar City — The Southern Utah men's basketball team plays its final non-conference home game of the season Thursday, when the Thunderbirds play host to UC Davis at 7 p.m. The Thunderbirds (4-6) come off an 80-72 loss at Troy on Tuesday night, which was their fourth straight defeat. UC Davis is 1-10 following a 79-59 loss at San Jose State, also on Tuesday. The Aggies' starting point guard is West High School graduate Tyrell Corbin. The son of Utah Jazz head coach Tyrone Corbin, he averages 5.9 points and three rebounds in 23.3 minutes. UC Davis is coached by Jim Les, who spent one season with the Jazz during his NBA career.
