The Utah Grizzlies held off a late rally to beat the Pacific Division-leading Las Vegas Wranglers, 4-3, in ECHL hockey on Wednesday night at Maverik Center.
C.J. Severyn scored the first goal of his pro career to put the Grizzlies ahead 1-0 on the first period. They scored twice in the second period, with goals by Bryan Cameron and Riley Emmerson. Paul McIlveen scored his team-leading 11th goal in the third period for Utah.
