Cedar City Southern Utah returns to action with two home games this week, starting Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Southern Virginia. The Thunderbirds play Troy on Saturday. Southern Utah, 3-2 this season, comes off a hard-fought 65-62 loss at Utah State. Jackson Stevenett scored a season-high 19 points against the Aggies. He also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. Matt Massey added 16 points against USU, meaning he has reached double figures in four of five games. So far, the Thunderbirds' top scorers include Ramell Taylor (11.8), Massey (11.2) and Stevenett (11.2).
