Tooele • The FIM Superbike World Championship series' only 2012 event in the Western Hemisphere is scheduled for May 26-28 at Miller Motorsports Park.

World Superbike is one of the top three motorcycle racing series in the world. Its events are televised live by 97 television networks to 120 million viewers in 176 countries, according to track spokesman John Gardner.

Dates have also been set for next year's Utah Grand Prix and the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series event at Miller Motorsports Park.

The annual Utah Grand Prix is April 28-29 and will once again be headlined by a NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race.

The offroad racing series returns to Utah for the third straight year on June 23-24.

"We have arrived at a schedule of events that provides our fans with an interesting variety of competition," MMP general manager John Larson said Monday.

For a limited time, season tickets for 2012 — good for every event at Miller Motorsports Park — are on sale for $110.
