The Southern Utah men's cross country team swept places one through to defeat Idaho State in cross country Monday in Pocatello, Idaho. Meanwhile, ISU's women beat SUU.
Elijah Rono not only finished first for the Thunderbird men, but also recorded the school's third-fastest time on the ISU course, 19 minutes, 1.3 seconds. Dallas Eborn, John Hart and Ryan Barrus swept the next three places to record a 15-47 win.
SUU's Ashley Gray finished second in her first collegiate women's race, followed by Jamie Smith in third and Danielle West in seventh as Idaho State won 31-24.
