The Westminster College men's cross country and track teams announced the signing of three more student-athletes to complete the 2011 signing class. Joseph Feichko, Sean McKenzie and Marcus Penza have all signed a Frontier Conference letter if intent.
Feichko comes from Albuquerque, N.M. where he attended Eldorado High School. As a member of the track team, Feichko ran mid-distance events along with competing in several jumping events. He posted a personal-best time of 1:58 in the 800 metersM and 50.9 in the 400 meters He also had a triple jump distance of 44 feet, nine inches..
McKenzie will join the Griffins from Gilbert, Ariz. after prepping at William Field High School. McKenzie competed in sprints and jumps in high school and posted a personal-best of 11.34 seconds in the 100 meters. He also had a time of 22.84 in the 200 meters and a distance of 21 feet, 4 inches in the long jump.
Penza comes to Westminster from Beaverton, Ore. after prepping at Southridge High School. Penza spent much of his high school career competing in sprints.
The 2011 cross country season begins on September 10 at the Roger Curran Invitational. The schedule features five races and concludes with the Frontier Conference Championships on November 4.
