A road game between Real Salt Lake and Vancouver Whitecaps FC has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6 and will be played at the renovated BC Place in Vancouver.

The July 16 game, postponed on after heavy rain made the temporary grass turf unplayable, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. MT. The contest was supposed to take place at Empire Field, where the Whitecaps are playing while BC Place is being renovated. But by the rescheduled time, the construction will be complete.

With the Vancouver match set, RSL will have a road-heavy back end to its 2011 schedule: Nine of its final 13 regular season games will be away.

The game will be available to RSL fans on ESPN 700 AM, ESPN Deportes 1600 AM and Juan 106.1 FM. The television broadcast information has not yet been released.
