A 7-0 quarter is a bit of an oddity in the notoriously high-scoring Arena Football League, but it happened Friday in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Utah Blaze can only lament that they posted the zero, as their scoreless fourth quarter proved their undoing in a 50-48 loss to the Iowa Barnstormers.

The Blaze entered the final period with a 48-43 lead, but by game's end, they saw their season record drop to 5-5, while Iowa improved to 3-7.

Utah quarterback Tommy Grady finished the game 22 for 40 for 276 yards, with five touchdowns and one interception.
