Cedar City The Southern Utah University softball team will return home for three games this weekend after a two-week stint on the road in Summit League contests.
The Thunderbirds will host IUPUI in a single game on Friday at 4 p.m. and a Saturday doubleheader starting at noon. They have an overall record of 20-24 and are 10-5 in Summit League play, good enough for a three-way tie for second. Aly Daniels is leading the team in batting, averaging .301 with a team-best 12 doubles and 40 hits. Heather Black leads the team in pitching with 14 victories.
