Region 13 remains the dominant force at the Class 2A girls' basketball state tournament. In yet another strong performance Thursday in Richfield, the region advanced three members to the semifinals.

Leading the way is tournament favorite Enterprise. The Wolves improved to 22-1 on the season and reached the semis with a convincing 48-31 quarterfinal win over San Juan.

Kanab 42, Millard 38 • The Cowboys advanced to the 2A semifinals with the win.

The Cowboys, 12-8 were led by Callie Jackson's 12 points, while Samantha and Whitney House each reached double figures with 11 apiece.

Beaver 39 South Sevier 26 • The Beavers improved to 17-5 with their victory. They were led by Lexy Moss's 16 points and will play Region 13 foe Kanab in one of the 2A semifinals.

South Summit 42, North Sevier 35 • South Summit overcame a 27-22 third-quarter deficit to record the win and break Region 13's stranglehold on semifinal appearances.

Hailey Hardman and Paige Peterson each scored eight points for the Wildcats. After starting the season 1-8, the Wildcats have won 11 of their last 12 games.
