After one season at the Maverik Center, the Utah Blaze will return to EnergySolutions Arena in downtown Salt Lake City when its season begins in March.

The Blaze, in its fifth year in the Arena Football League, played previously at the downtown Salt Lake arena for three seasons before moving last year to the smaller West Valley City arena.

The team announced the move in a press release Monday, but did not specify the reasons for leaving the Maverik Center.

"We are extremely excited about our return to EnergySolutions Arena and have nothing but appreciation for the gracious way everyone here has welcomed us and our vision for the future of the organization," said Blaze owner Logan Hunter.  "The Blaze, and the entire AFL have made huge strides in bringing this amazing game back to the fans and we are excited to showcase our personal accomplishments this upcoming season."

The Blaze's first game back at EnergySolutions will be be March 17 against the Tampa Bay Storm.
