RSL announces preseason training schedule

Real Salt Lake, which begins preseason camp later this month, opens the 2011 soccer season at Columbus, Ohio, in a CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against the Crew on Feb. 22. Leg two of the competition is scheduled for March 1 at Rio Tinto Stadium.

The Major League Soccer season begins for RSL on March 19 at San Jose.

RSL's first preseason training camp begins Jan. 23 at the Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Ariz. On Feb. 2, Real returns to Utah for training through Feb. 6. Afterward, the team leaves for Phoenix, Ariz., on Feb. 7 through Feb. 15 before another brief stint in Salt Lake City.

RSL is coming off its best-ever regular season where it finished second in the Western Conference. Real lost to Dallas in the first round of the MLS Playoffs.
