Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Centerville City Council • Will review a revised site plan for the Chase Lane pump station; Tuesday, Oct. 15, 7 p.m., 250 N. Main St., Centerville. View the Centerville agenda.

Draper City Council • Will hold a public hearing on a request to change the general plan map for 9.7 acres at 12223 S. Draper Planning Commission • Will consider approval of a plat amendment of 81.5 acres in the TSD (transit station district) zone to subdivide an existing seven-lot subdivision into 25 smaller lots ranging from 36 to 0.7 acres; Thursday, Oct. 17, 6:30 p.m., City Council chambers, 1020 E. Layton City Council • Has canceled its regular Thursday, Oct. 19, meeting. Salt Lake City Council • Will discuss public engagement and the possible creation of a new public engagement staff position; Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2 p.m. work session, room 326, 451 S. State. Salt Lake County Planning Commission • Will consider ordinance changes that would limit the scope of "animals and fowl for family food production" and to make that land use a conditional use rather than a permitted use in R-1-21 and R-1-43 zones. South Jordan City Council • Will hold a public hearing on a request by Kornwasser Shopping Center Properties, LLC for rezoning and land-use agreements regarding a proposed retail center on the southwest corner of 11400 South and Bangerter Highway; Tuesday, Oct. 15, 6 p.m., 1600 W. Taylorsville City Council ยป Will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments of the land development code involving prohibited sign devices and standards for permanent signs that require a permit.
