Civics Central: Sandy to discuss picketing ordinance

Here’s your weekly roundup of what local city councils and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Clinton City Council » Will hold a public hearing on a request to rezone property at approximately 1564 N. 1500 West from R-1-10 to R-1-9; Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m., 2267 N. 1500 West, Clinton. View the Clinton agenda.

Davis County Commission • Will consider an agreement with American Legion Post 27 and Davis County Veterans organizations to lease a portion of the Memorial Courthouse Building; Tuesday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m., Davis County Administrative Office Building, 61 S. Farmington Planning Commission • Will consider a request from Henry Walker Homes for a recommendation of schematic plan approval for The Village at Station Park subdivision (128 lots) on 12.11 acres at the southwest corner of Clark Lane and 1100 West in an RMU zone; Thursday, Sept. 26, 7 p.m., 160 S.
