Salt Lake County to discuss logo, Taylorsville to hear about UFA staffing

Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Centerville City Council • Will hear an update on the Parrish and Main intersection project and consider approving a contract with Lochner Engineering to complete the final design and prepare bidding documents; Tuesday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m., 250 N. Main St., Centerville. View the Centerville agenda.

Cottonwood Heights City Council • Next meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Davis County Commission • Will consider an amendment with Utah Transit Authority to include Bountiful City in the participation of the SLC Connector Link to Davis County study; Tuesday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m., Davis County Administrative Office Building, 61 S. Salt Lake City Council • Will hold a work session to discuss priorities of capital improvements that involve the construction, purchase or renovation of buildings, parks, streets or other physical structures; Tuesday, Sept. 17 , 4 p.m. in Room 326, City Hall, 451 S. State St.

Salt Lake County Council • Will discuss the creation of a county logo to go on all county-related facilities; Tuesday, Sept. 17, 10:30 a.m., Room 2003, North Building, County Government Center, 2001 S. State St., Salt Lake City. View the Salt Lake County agendas.
