Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Bluffdale Planning Commission • Will hold a public hearing on a request for a conditional use permit for a proposed horse arena and stable to be located at 14005 S. Loumis Pkwy., and a public hearing on a proposed site plan for Summit Academy K-8 Charter School at approximately 1000 W. Heritage Crets; Tuesday, Aug. 20, 7 p.m., 14350 S. 2200 West, Bluffdale. Centerville City Council • Council members, sitting as the Board of Canvassers, will canvass the returns from the Aug. 13 municipal primary at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20. Kaysville City Council • Will canvass the municipal primary election returns at a special meeting at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.
