Several road projects throughout the state are expected to create significant delays this weekend and next week — including delays of up to an hour on Interstate 15 in Utah County.

The projects include:

I-15 in Lehi • The freeway will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Lehi Main Street and 2100 North from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday for bridge maintenance. The Utah Department of Transportation says drivers should plan for heavy delays of up to one hour on Saturday afternoon and up to 45 minutes on Sunday evening.

Similar lane restrictions are scheduled for each weekend through September.

I-80/I-215 ramps near Salt Lake City International Airport • Crews are scheduled to close select ramps to the airport for concrete repair each night this weekend from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. UDOT advises those traveling to the airport to use Bangerter Highway or Interstate 15 as alternates.

Interstate 15 at St. George Boulevard • Traffic will be diverted next week to the on- and off-ramps at the St. George Boulevard interchange from Thursday through Aug. 10 to allow demolition of a bridge.

Redwood Road in West Jordan • The road will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between 6600 South and 9000 South during daytime hours beginning Monday. During overnight hours, it will be reduced to a single lane in each direction to allow concrete pavement maintenance. Restrictions will be in place through September.

Schedules are subject to change because of weather. More details are available at udottraffic.utah.gov, or by downloading the free "UDOT Traffic" app on any iPhone or Android device.
