Romney purchased two homes through a holding company in March, Salt Lake County records show.

Mitt Romney had sold his Deer Valley home in 2009 as he prepared for his second bid for the White House. The former head of the 2002 Winter Olympics still owns a home in New Hampshire and in La Jolla, Calif. He also owns a condo in Belmont, Mass.

Romney aides didn’t respond to repeated requests for comment, and Josh Romney referred questions to his dad’s advisers.

County records show a home in Holladay purchased for $717,000 in March under the business name ADR Holdings LLC. The name appears to be the initials for Romney’s wife, Ann D. Romney, and she is the only registered agent for the company, according to state records.

The address listed for ADR Holdings is the same as Josh Romney’s company, Romney Ventures.

That home is a two-story, 4,600-square foot brick house with 16 rooms, including five bedrooms and four fireplaces.

The other house is a single-story brick rambler valued by the county assessor at $666,600. It has 12 total rooms, including four bedrooms — but just a single fireplace. It has 2,781 square feet of finished space and a horse barn.

Josh Romney, who runs a company that buys and remodels multi-unit buildings, owns a home about 4 miles away in Cottonwood Heights, records show.

Ann Romney, who has multiple sclerosis, has said that horses have helped her cope with the disease. The Romneys’ mare Rafalca competed at the 2012 London Summer Games.
