The public is invited to give input on Salt Lake City's planned Performing Arts Center from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday on the fourth floor of the Main Library, 210 E. 400 South.

The proposed 2,500-seat theater is expected to draw touring Broadway shows and will be located on Main between 100 and 200 South.

Those attending Thursday's workshop — the first of three — can take part in facilitated discussions to provide input on what they want to see in the project. Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker and Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon will address the workshop.
