Supporters of Millcreek becoming a city will hold a "town hall meeting" to explain the benefits of incorporation at 7 p.m. Thursday at Wasatch Junior High School, 3750 S. 3100 East.

Mark Crockett, Republican candidate for Salt Lake County mayor, is one of several speakers who will address the gathering, organized by the pro-incorporation group Future of Millcreek Association. Also on the agenda is Kelvyn Cullimore, a central figure in the 2004 formation of Cottonwood Heights. He is that city's first and only mayor.

A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations. The event is expected to last until 8:30 p.m.
