Kids, meet the brine shrimp

Bring the kids to Antelope Island State Park on Saturday and get a look at one of the Great Salt Lake’s most important life forms.

Don’t worry about binoculars, however. There will be microscopes on hand to view brine shrimp.

When: Saturday, May 5, 11 a.m.- noon

Where: Antelope Island State Park, 4528 W. 1700 South, Syracuse

Admission: $9 per vehicle; $6 for Utah seniors 62+;  $3 cyclists andpedestrians

Stop by Bridger Bay Beach between 11 a.m. and noon to visit with a park interpreter about lake life and other fun facts. Microscopes will be on hand for viewing and discovering lake wonders.
