Skiers are gathering to remember Jamie Pierre and support his family at a two-show event Feb. 23 at Brewvies, 667 S. 200 West, in Salt Lake City. Pierre, a professional skier and skiing innovator, died in an avalanche in November while skiing in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The show starts at 7 p.m. with a showing of "Grand Bizarre" from Poorboyz Productions followed by "One For the Road" from Teton Gravity Research.

An after party includes a raffle, auction and door prizes. There is a $5 recommended donation for the movies and $5 for raffle tickets.
