Park City Mountain Resort is offering five new freestyle camps this winter.

Geared toward intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders aged 9-15, the camps will provide terrain park training plus instruction in shooting and editing video. Each three-day camp will have no more than five students per coach. The focus will be on all-mountain skill development, park and pipe instruction and capturing digital images.

GoPro cameras will be used to photograph the progress of the students, who will complete camp with a digital video that may be shared over Facebook or YouTube, said Park City Mountain Resort spokesman Andy Miller.

Camps cost $450, including a lift ticket and lunch, $330 if a ticket is not needed, he said.

Sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 22-24, March 13-15, March 20-22, March 27-29 and April 3-5. Reservations may be made by calling 800-227-2754.
