Moab • It’s registration time for the 46th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari, scheduled March 31 through April 8 this year, and there is a new process for those planning on participating.
Those who want to register need to log on to www.rr4w.com and set up an account. This opens up a registration window where you can start choosing from the 30 trails being offered over the nine-day event. You will be required to know your vehicle specs as well as the license number to complete registration.

The lottery system that has been used in the past has been discontinued. Organizers have added a "First Timers Package" for those who have never participated that takes riders to Chicken Corners, the 3D Slickrock Climb, the Secret Spire and 3D scenic vista.
The popular event draws four-wheel drive enthusiasts from all over the world to drive their vehicles on trails that range from mild to very challenging. It includes a gigantic vendor expo on April 5 and 6.
Moab motels fill fast for this week, so it’s best to make camping or lodging reservations as early as possible, with the potential for needing to stay in outlying towns such as Green River or Monticello.
