Lynn Chamberlain/Utah Division of Wildlife Resources| Roadrunners are among the birds that may be seen at the Winter Bird Festival being held Jan. 26 - 28 in St. George and at bird watching hot spots in Washington County.
Flock to sunny St. George for bird festival

If the cold winter of northern Utah is keeping you from getting out on a birding adventure, consider a trip to southern Utah and the ninth annual St. George Winter Bird Festival being held Jan. 26-28. Numbers of birds rarely seen in northern Utah, and the entire state for that matter, often are spotted during this event. The festival is held in St. George and other spots in Washington County.
