Sundance is now open. No, not the film festival, the ski resort up Provo Canyon. Sundance opened Dec. 9 for the ski and snowboard season. Officials say they have been working hard to move and expand the Terrain Park for the 2011-12 opening. The move also means the Terrain Park will be open during night operations at the resort.

Sundance also add the "Outlaw Trails" to the trail map for the new season. The theme trail for children is accessed from the midway stop on Ray’s lift. The run includes painted scenes with an old west scene.
