The definition of involuntary manslaughter is: causing another person's death through reckless behavior. Chopping down a tree to cross a state highway is reckless behavior.
Mr. Edgar Riecke is dead now because of the Boy Scouts' behavior. The adults in this group should be prosecuted.
Surely there was no malicious intent, but chopping down a tree to cross a state highway is going to impact anyone using the road. Thank goodness the goblins in Goblin Valley are not near the highway.
