Enough is enough. I lean toward agreeing with Janay Rice. The media is driving overexposure. What Janay chooses or chooses not to do with her husband is her decision. Let's not cite battered wife syndrome or other issues. Simply, this is a matter between Ray and Janay. Between them and the law.

Were this an everyday person, none of this would be "out." Due to his national celebrity, it is. Ray has a responsibility to maintain a given profile. He failed to do so. This matter is now for the Ravens and the NFL. Were he John Q. Public working for a major corporation, there would be no outrage, no demand for his termination and no demand for the CEO's resignation.

So the only change is notoriety due to the millions Ray makes. The landscape is changed. Let's move away from this and allow each of the various entities to make their decisions and deal with issues going forward. Certainly, we do not need a former director of a federal agency investigating. People, let's get back to reality.
