We are longtime residents of Friendship Manor. There are 178 apartments at the Manor. Ninety-five of them are "market rate" rentals, and 83 are HUD subsidized rentals.

Friendship Manor is a beautiful, caring retirement center and a desirable place to live. When Mr. Jack Coleman moved into the Manor, he arrived without any furnishings, not even a bed.

Due to the kindness of the residents and the LDS Church, he now has a beautifully furnished apartment complete with 27-inch TV.

Mr. Coleman has failed to mention the residents who were glad to meet him and invite him to join them at lunch. He also failed to mention the people who kindly drive him to his appointments and to church.

We are sorry for the cruel and hurtful remarks and letters to Mr. Coleman. These do not represent the majority of Manor residents. Unfortunately, of the 180 plus residents there are a few "rotten apples." Friendship Manor is a warm, friendly, retirement residence. We would highly recommend it to future residents.
