On Thursday, Gov. Gary Herbert on live radio used the term, and I quote, "rat hole" when questioned about and referencing UTOPIA. He also said "UTOPIA certainly hasn't turned out to be,Utopia." Anyone listening to the "Let me speak with the Governor" radio program knows it is true.

I have been saying that for years! Think of the millions of dollars that would have been saved, heartache and misery, had Brigham City hired me as an Internet consultant, but I digress.

A great teacher of mine, John Garfield, had a poster on his wall. It read, "Just because they say you are paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you."

Lesson: just because I work as an Internet expert for an ISP doesn't mean the things I say about UTOPIA aren't true. Finally others are waking up to this fact. Empty UTA buses are a mistake. Losing Walmart to Perry city was a mistake. Losing Flying J to Ogden, mistake. Sadly, there are more. Time to stop making mistakes, Brigham City. Cut your losses and run away from UTOPIA.
