Letter: Republicans share blame for ‘swollen’ government
First Published Aug 22 2014 04:20 pm • Last Updated Aug 22 2014 04:20 pm

George Will’s column, "Cupcake regulations have real world consequences," of August 21, had some very good points concerning our "swollen" government, our dysfunctional immigration policies, resistance to taxation, etc. But, I think Mr. Will was just a tad disingenuous when citing only two dimwitted leaders: Harry Reid and Joe Biden, and not naming any Republican dimwits!

Please, both parties are at fault. And, in my estimation, the Republican House holds that cake! And, by the way, some bake sales have caused food allergies and mild poisoning.

I’m not at all arguing his point that our government "lacks adult supervision." I agree with that point!
