Thank you Karen Keely for your expressive letter to the attorney general (Public Forum, Aug. 15) in regards to the 10 innocent horses who suffered an agonizing death in the blazing sun because their hateful owners denied them food and water. They had other options that would have left the horses alive and healthy.
The owners should be charged for their despicable, senseless act, and be given the maximum penalty.
