It is difficult for me to see how the Aug. 13 letter by Andrew Papadakis, "Obama as Chamberlain" survived your instructions for submitting letters to The Tribune.

I believe one of the requirements is accuracy.

Since when is our nation required to be the "destroyer of Antichrists? Why is President Obama blamed for the two wars President Bush and Vice President Cheney were responsible for and were handed off to him?

I hardly think that President Obama "has forgotten that America has done more to destabilize the world than any country on earth." Maybe the president, as a highly educated person, knows that such a claim is nonsense.

As to "providing weapons to armies that can't seem to keep hold of them" is it possible that this is precisely why he didn't want our weapons to land in the hands of Jihadists in Syria?

Finally, his obnoxious comment that President Obama is "too cowardly to confront a scofflaw cattle rancher" goes beyond any sort of decency.
