Mr. Dionne's article in today's Tribune ("Plain vanilla bipartisanship," August 8) absolutely fails to make one mention of the fact that while the House of Representatives has passed bill after bill, only a handful have been brought to the Senate floor by Harry Reid for a vote. I suggest that Mr. Dionne should perhaps take a poll among voters asking which House of Congress has accomplished the least. Further, if immigration was such a big deal to the Democrats and Obama, why wasn't it addressed when they controlled everything? The media has done an outstanding job covering the backs of Obama and the Democrats.
