For the first time in its 10-year history, the Tour of Utah featured professional and elite women’s teams competing on the men’s Stage 3 finishing circuit, a 15-lap race on Miller Motorsports Park’s 2.2-mile course on Wednesday. Fifty-eight of the fastest women in the country raced. Sadly, there was no article on the women’s race in The Salt Lake Tribune. Every day this week I looked in the Sports section for an article to show my daughter. I am shocked and let down. When will the Tribune’s Sports section start covering the other half of the population?
