Diplomas can only take you so far. You have to want to take yourself the rest of the way. More teenagers are graduating, but only a few are putting those diplomas to good use.

Many teenagers don't learn the other lessons that go with working for a diploma, such as going above and beyond what is expected of you. They see diplomas as something that can help them get a better job, which they are, but they are also a sign of hard work and determination.

These teenagers get the sense of accomplishment, but how long will that last?
