I don't understand why there isn't anything said about the costs of operations for city parks and tennis courts. We pay upwards to $40 to $50 for a round of golf now, so why doesn't the city charge a fee to use the parks and tennis courts? If the juniors are excluded in the golf fee increase, why include the seniors? The golf rate should be the same for everyone, including city employees. I'd also like to understand why secondary water couldn't be connected to existing golf course watering systems. Maybe it's the water rights.
