American elections have consequences.
When the United .States had competent leadership, we won the battle of Fallujah and took Iraq out of the control of the hard-core Islamists. After the surge, terrorism was reduced enough that the Iraqi people felt safe and started living happier, more comfortable lives. New schools were built and oil production resumed.
After the American people elected a president whose only platform was that he would give them money that belonged to someone else, he pulled all support out of Iraq so that now the terrorists who were beaten and in hiding are emboldened and on the attack. They have retaken Fallujah and are terrorizing the whole country again.
We have lost everything we had accomplished in Iraq, like we did when Jimmy Carter stopped supporting the Shah and Iran was taken over by Islamists who turned it into a training ground for terrorists.
