Letter: Paying more and getting less
First Published Jul 03 2014 05:31 pm • Last Updated Jul 03 2014 05:31 pm

Despite the newspaper becoming lighter by losing a feature every week or two, a recent article in the Trib reported managers and owners of the Trib as saying the renegotiation of the JOA wasn’t meant to harm the Trib; this coming days before they canceled their subscription to the New York Times News Service. No more Gail, Maureen, Thomas, or Paul. It also was not lost on me that the price of my subscription went up by four or five dollars for twelve weeks. More money for less service doesn’t seem like a successful business model to me. How long before the paper is reduced to nothing more than a circular for Recreation Outlet folded around a sports page (singular)?
