Kelly White's letter ("Toss them a bone," June 23) is unfortunately true. I live close to you, near 15th and 15th, and have seen those unsightly McMansions while walking the neighborhood.

What about taking things a step further and throw those developers a really big bone? Why not tear down every home between 900 South and 1700 South between 1300 East and 2100 East and move the prison here? For those who just can't bear to part with their beautiful, classic homes, have them relocated (without a city permit) for a half million dollars by someone connected to a developer to Sugarhouse Park, where the old prison used to be.
