What is a caliphate? A region ruled by Muslims. Much like much of Europe and the Catholic Church, the bible belt and the Baptists, and Utah and the Mormons. Organized religion is the most divisive force in the world today. The majority of religious believers are peaceful, loving people. The 10 percent hardliners are the problem. They are ruled by their beliefs. What are beliefs? Things we are told to believe that cannot be logically or reasonably be proven. They are the product of ignorance.

How do we cure ignorance? With education. Why are we willing to spend billions to make war, but resist spending any more than the minimum to educate our children? I don't have the answer, but I think religion has something to do with it.
