Letter: Do you really want biblical definition of marriage?

Carol Budge ("Not Homophobic," June 24) comes to Ramon Swapp’s defense and discloses that "sodomy puts a very distasteful visual in my mind." This meets the definition of prurient (morbidly interested in sexual thoughts or practices). I care not what intimate practices Carol or Ramon engage in with their partners and I would hope they would spend less time obsessing what other couples do. Most sodomy laws in this country have been found to be unconstitutional. As for Carol and Ramon’s preferred biblical definition of marriage, does this include polygamy? No thanks.
