As a senior at West High School, my friend and I would run on the track at night, because we both agreed we would enlist in the Army after graduation, and we were getting ready for "boot camp." I told my friend that if I should die in Vietnam, my only regret would be I never had children.

By the grace of God, we both returned home safe from Vietnam. I married and had children. Some of my children are lesbian and gay. I thank God with all my heart for my children and couldn't love them any more than I do.

You see, they are also children of God, and I am so thankful that equality is sweeping the U.S.A., and that I understand that God creates some of His gay.
