We've often been reminded of late that local leaders, and even prophets, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are human, make mistakes, and give wrong counsel due to their circumstances, environment, and prejudices. It seems rather arrogant, then, that any of these imperfect, lay, male leaders believe they have the authority, right, responsibility and power to "lovingly" decide for Christ who belongs in His church, or more importantly, who does not. Maybe the decision whether "you're in or you're out" is better left to Heidi Klum on Project Runway.
