In regards to the letter from Frans J. Kohlschein ("Citizenship not what it used to be," June 6):
I am tired of Mr. Kohlschein’s bitter letters always complaining about our country. We are not perfect, and we do have problems, but if you hate it so much why not go back to the Netherlands? They are a country that has become a symbol of progressiveness and secularism.
They are far more radical than any other country in applying the progressive philosophy with abortion, prostitution, legalization of soft drugs, euthanasia, and same-sex marriage. Wouldn’t that be a better fit for you?
